Would you tip a guy who helped you put some large shopping items in your car?

I wouldn’t help them and if were them I wouldn’t take the tip. They were just helping to be nice. Isabelle
If I were able (cash in my pocket) to I would. They didn’t have to help you. But if I were broke, I’d thank the hell out of them. Mr.Pants!
No I don’t think so-
I think that tipping is also bit over done. We seem to tip everyone these days just for simply doing their job. There was a day and time when good service was just part of the job description, and part of the reason you would shop somewhere. Now it seems like if someone does a good job at their job they expect their palms greased for it. I don’t think the consumer should have to pay people to do a better job at what they were hired to do in the first place.
I would on the other hand call the manager and praise the guys for their superior customer service. Hopefully they have a review coming up and will get a better raise from it, and that is better then a tip. chickennosenshi
It is part of their job to help customers with large items however if they were very nice and you wanted to tip them then you could offer it to them, however, I think a sincere thank you would suffice. Bears Mom
